About Me

The collage below is the genesis of how this all started.  In 1979 I climbed Quandary Peak in Breckenridge, Colorado with my Dad.  Near the top, I ran out of gas and said I was done.  Half expecting my Dad to yield to my teenage whims and stay with me, he said, "okay, you stay here, I'm going to the top and I'll pick you up on the way back."  Fair.  He was on a journey too.  So, I mustered all I had left and scrambled up after him and made it!!  It was such a moment of self pride.  I wanted my daughters to have that same experience and we conquered it together in 2023.  We are all members of the 14ers club!  

I've reflected on that through the years when I faced a challenge and from that experience I know that I can do difficult things!  Launching a small business is one of those challenges and I work at it every day either in the studio, doing the business tasks or creating new pieces in my mind as I walk the beaches or hike in the woods.  It really is a wonderful life!
